Macquarie University is a public research university based in Sydney, Australia, in the suburb of Macquarie Park. Founded in 1964 by the New South Wales Government, it was the third university to be established in the metropolitan area of Sydney.
Established as a verdant university, Macquarie has five faculties as well as the Macquarie University Hospital and the Macquarie Graduate School of Management which are located on the university's main campus in suburban Sydney.

ASEAN Early Acceptance Scholarship 2021 is awarded to all eligible students from ASEAN countries who commence their studies in 2021 or 2022.
Eligibility
- Country Scholarship at Macquarie University is open Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam citizens.
- All the applicants must have enrolled for a bachelor's or master's program at Macquarie University or registered through the online application system.
- Applicants must meet all the academic and English requirements for the course offered at North Ryde campus.
- Selected candidates must be ready and commence their course study in 2021.
- Commencement of the coursework will not be postponed.
Important Notes
- Applicants of Country Scholarship at Macquarie University who are on an English-packaged course are eligible for this scholarship provided they start their course in 2019 or 2020.
- Students who have received any other Macquarie University scholarship do not qualify.
- Applicants are required to stay enrolled in the original approved course of study and pass all units to remain eligible for this scholarship.
Value of the ASEAN Early Acceptance Scholarship 2021
The successful applicants of Macquarie University - ASEAN Scholarships in Australia, 2021 will receive an award of AU$10,000 per year (AUD $5,000 will be credited each session) towards the tuition fees.
